DEAR SIR, IS IT NECESSARY TO REMOVED IUD THAT MISSED IN ABDOMINAL CAVITY AFTER UTERINE PERFORATION. EVEN PT IS ASYMPTOMATIC.? PLEASE IF YOU CAN SUPPORT WITH EVIDENCE BASED MATERIAL. THANKS |

Dear Dr Atieh In my opinion it should must be removed as soon as possible because delaying it can cause late complication including perforation. If you will do the Googling writing "Perforation of bowel due to IUCD" you will get many case reports. With regard Dr R K Mishra |
