A study from Charak Memorial Hospital, Pokhara, Nepal, reviewed 159 gynecologic laparoscopic surgeries performed between 2019 and 2023. Laparoscopy was successfully completed in 96.2% of patients, with only 3.8% requiring conversion to open surgery. Most patients were discharged within two days, and complications were low (6.5%), mainly minor. The findings demonstrate that safe and effective gynecologic laparoscopy can be achieved in resource-limited settings through proper training, patient selection, and continuous audit.
