Dear Zahroul Haque The treatment of calculous/acalculous Acute cholecystitis is removal of the gall bladder by Laparoscopy Cholecystectomy.If your circumstances do not allow for the surgery than a course of 1.PPI( Proton pump Inhibitors),2.Antibiotics and some mild pain killers can be taken for 5to7 days under medical supervision. Dear sir, Plz reply for my medical report Gall bladder- distended, a 9mm calculus is seen at neck. Wall are thickened with pericholeyecystic fat standing. Acute calculous cholecystitis. Mild hepatosplenomegaly. Prostatomegaly grade -1. Plz reply me the advice for which type of treatment. Dear Ridhi You have a gall stone. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the surgery of choice. In this the small holes are made in the abdomen through which the instrument and telescope are passed and the surgery is carried out.
