|After the laparoscopic removal of a burst appendix which involved severe pus and faeces in the peritoneum my daughter has not made the expected recovery. It is 3 weeks since the surgery and she has abdominal pain and nausea. She does not have a temperature. Abdominal xrays reveal nothing abnormal and a urine test was normal and her C reactive protein has come down from 400 to 4. Nobody seems to know what is going on and she is in a terrible state. Can you point us in any directions? We are desparate. She has been to the GP 4 times this week and we still have no clue as to what the problem might be. Thanks sooooo much for offering this online service. Looking forward to your reply.|
