Had a head and eye injury last October. Emergency said eyeball was swollen. Was seeing double on my right eye when the left eye was covered. Now I just see what looks like a shadow. Only when the left eye is covered. Have been getting stabbing pain to my eyeball, eye socket, Head, face since the injury. It is just getting worse. Eye neurologist does not see anything wrong with my eye. No explanation as to why I see a shadow on the eye that was injured. The pain is getting worse and traveling. One neurologist says I have something called *Atypical face pain*. Another doctor says I have *Trigeminal Neuralgia*. None of which say anything about what is wrong with my eye. It does mention my face and head, but nothing about my eye. Do you have any idea if there is a name for what is wrong with my eye. |

Dear Linda Thanks for your letter but unfortunately without examining your eye we can not do the exact diagnosis just by history. In our opinion you should consult a good eye specialist. With regard J S Chowhan |
