Dear Doctor, I have 4 cm big hiatus hernia and I always has to take Pantoprazole tablet. I want Laparoscopic Surgery. Please let me know can I get this surgery done at your hospital. What would be the expenses. How many days I have to stay in Hospital and what is the advantage of laparoscopic surgery over open surgery for hiatus hernia. With regard Sriniwash Thakur |

Dear Sriniwash Thakur You can get the laparoscopic surgery for hiatus hernia done at our hospital. The expense will be around rupees two lakhs and hospitalisation will be for 2 to 3 days.Advantages over open surgery are early recovery, shorter hospital stay, less post op pain and no big scars. |
