If you have body pain and your cholesterol levels are high, it's important to take care of both issues together. High cholesterol means there is too much fat in your blood, which can increase the risk of heart disease and other health problems. Body pain could be due to various reasons like stress, muscle strain, lack of nutrients, or inflammation. Here’s what you can do: Diet Changes Avoid fatty and fried foods. Reduce intake of butter, cheese, red meat, and fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. They are rich in fiber and help lower cholesterol. Choose healthy fats. Use olive oil or sunflower oil instead of ghee or butter. Include foods like oats, nuts (especially almonds and walnuts), and fish. Exercise Regularly Do light to moderate exercise (like walking, yoga, or cycling) for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. This helps lower cholesterol and reduce body pain. Stay Hydrated and Get Rest Drink enough water and get 7–8 hours of good sleep every night. This helps your body heal and reduces pain. Avoid Smoking and Alcohol These can worsen both cholesterol and body pain. Consult a Doctor Your doctor may recommend a cholesterol-lowering medicine (like statins). If your body pain continues, the doctor might check for other conditions like vitamin D deficiency, arthritis, or nerve problems. Manage Stress Practice meditation or deep breathing exercises. Stress can worsen both cholesterol and body pain. |
