In cases of gum pain and mumps infection, the main goal is to control the infection and reduce the pain. Here are some general remedies that may help you: Oral hygiene: To control mumps infection, pay special attention to cleaning your mouth. Rinse your mouth at least twice a day and use saltwater gargles to clean the teeth and mouth. Warm saltwater gargles: Gargling with warm water can also help reduce the pain. Take a glass of warm water and mix half a teaspoon of salt in it. Hold this mixture in your mouth and gargle for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Do this in the morning and evening. Dietary precautions: Avoid spicy, tangy, and sharp foods, as they can worsen your gum pain. Take a proper and nutritious diet that will strengthen your gums and boost your immune system. Use of medicines: Take the medications prescribed by your doctor, such as antibiotics for severe infections or anti-infective creams or gels. Use the medications as per the dosage and schedule advised by your doctor. You should visit our hospital and consult our doctor for proper treatment.
