splenectomy

i had surgery about 15 years ago on my spleen, I was told they removed about 3/4 of the spleen. 11 years later i was told they left a metal clamp on my spleen.I want to know if this clamp needs to be removed.I have had nothing but problems with my stomach and overall health,could this be the problem? |
