shin pain and swelling

About 4months ago i banged my shin and a briuse formed, 4 weeks later the bruise healed, then 4 weeks ago the bruise came back and the area has swollen and causes me pain but more when i'm resting at night. I feel silly to go to the Doctor about a bruise and bump, could the bruise have become infected. |

Dear Georgina Demetriou The cause of swelling again is probably due to infection or subcutaneous hematoma. You should consult a good Skin specialist or may be just at least your family physician. With regard J S Chowhan |
