intramaral fibriod

I went for a pelvic scan and it says that i have two fibriods ,51x48mm and 41x37mm are seen in my posterior wall and anterior-fundal wall of d myometrium respectively. please advice |

Dear patient You have not mentioned your age,marital status and if married number of children you have. In younger patients the treatment of fibroids is Laparoscopic Myomectomy i.e. removal of the fibroids by Laparoscopic Surgery. In premenopausal patients conservative treatment is possible because with cessation of the menstrual periods the size of the fibroids decrease. Thanks With Regards Dr J S Chowhan |
