Thank you for your message. A cyst in or around the vagina can have several causes, such as a Bartholin gland cyst, inclusion cyst, or another benign cyst. The right treatment depends on its size, location, whether it is painful, and whether it is infected.

To guide you better, please answer these questions:

How old are you?
Where exactly is the cyst (inside the vagina, at the vaginal opening, or on the outer lips)?
Is it painful, swollen, red, or draining pus?
How long have you had it?
Is it getting bigger?
Do you have fever, difficulty walking, sitting, or pain during urination or intercourse?

In the meantime:

Keep the area clean and dry.
Avoid squeezing or trying to pop the cyst.
If it is a small, non-painful lump, sitting in a warm bath (sitz bath) for 10–15 minutes, 3–4 times a day may help.

If the cyst becomes very painful, rapidly increases in size, starts draining pus, or you develop fever, you should see a gynecologist as soon as possible, as you may need antibiotics or a minor procedure to drain it.

Once you provide the answers to the questions above, I can advise you further.
