If you have lumps in your testicles along with itching, a burning sensation, and stickiness, it’s important to take it seriously. These symptoms can happen due to different reasons: Possible Causes: Infection: A bacterial or fungal infection can cause itching, burning, and sticky discharge. It could be a skin infection or a s-exually transmitted infection (STI). Cysts: Small harmless fluid-filled lumps called epididymal cysts can form near the testicles. Varicocele: Enlarged veins in the scrotum that may feel like lumps. Allergy or irritation: Reaction to soaps, detergents, or sweating can cause itching and rashes. Hydrocele: Fluid build-up around the testicle can cause swelling and discomfort. Testicular cancer (rare): A painless lump in the testicle needs urgent medical attention. What You Should Do: See a doctor (urologist): A physical exam, ultrasound, or urine test may be needed to find the cause. Avoid scratching: It can worsen the itching or cause infection. Keep the area clean and dry: Wash with mild soap and water, and wear loose cotton underwear. Avoid using strong creams or powders unless prescribed by a doctor. Do not squeeze or press the lumps. Warning Signs: If the lump is growing Severe pain or swelling Fever or pus-like discharge If you’ve had unprotected s-ex recently Treatment: Antibiotics or antifungal medicines if infection is found Surgery if needed (for cysts or hydrocele) Proper hygiene and care |
