Training objectives were clearly explained and achieved during my four week stay in India. Prof. Mishra is the best teacher I ever met in my life. There are too many good points to list!
Objectives were clearly stated from the start. I gained a greater knowledge of laparoscopic equipment and it's correct use. The Power Point presentation was very good as the slides were to the point and used in conjunction with good handouts. I got also opportunity to work with Dr Mishra in laparoscopic and robotic operation theatre. The hands-on practical training sessions were very good. "The trainer used many ways in which to pass on his knowledge to us. Before the course I was confused about certain standards and criteria for laparoscopic surgery. Having completed the MAS Diploma intensive course I feel more confident about many procedures. The training course helped me in all areas that I was previously unclear about, laparoscopic suturing knotting teaching was superb. I never thought I will be able to suture laparoscopically so nicely. We learnt twelve type of laparoscopic extracorporeal as well as intracorporeal knot by Dr R K Mishra. My name is Mohammed Vaughan. I checked into World Laparoscopy Hospital for Sleeve Gastrectomy operation. I want to bring to your attention the sensational care I received during my stay at WLH. The care and attention I received from the doctors, on down the line, was excellent.
My memories begin on a very rough night...when I started feeling very bad and fortunately my Nurse (and Dr Rahul, Assistant of Dr R K Mishra) were there to get me through it. As I returned to reality the following days and nights became easier directly because of the wonderful care I received from the Nurses of World Laparoscopy Hospital, Aids, and Charge Nurses. I remember the special care I received. I was never treated badly or ignored. Finally at the end of 6 month I lost 40 KG of my weight and still decreasing. I would like to commend you for your sensational day and night staff. You can be proud of them. Please allow me to tell you that you administer a quality hospital and should be proud of your qualify staff of professionals. Sincerely, Mohammed Vaughan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reply: Dear Mohammed Vaughan

I am proud to say that I got my placement as a Laparoscopic Consultant Gynecologist at NHS. To be honest, when I first thought about coming to India for developing my skill of laparoscopic gynecology, I was quite skeptical. But this experience turned out to be opposite of what I envisioned after meeting Dr Mishra. World Laparoscopy Hospital not only gave me an opportunity to broaden my knowledge in the field of laparoscopic surgery but also helped me broaden my horizon with International and multicultural environment.
I thank WLH and its faculty members for encouraging me to think globally and spread my wings to take off for the land of rising Sun and I appreciate the support of my mentor Dr R K Mishra for shaping my career and getting me placed in such big hospital. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reply: Dear Dr S Bethany

I take this moment to thank you all! Being accepted at “World Laparoscopy Hospital” scholarship Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery program gave me the opportunity to fulfill my dreams not just because it offers me a scholarship but like my other classmates, I applied for “Laparoscopic Surgery Training Program of World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurugram” for different reasons. It is a truly international institute. I never felt I am out of Canada. Being a Fellow Surgeon of World Laparoscopy Hospital means as if you are home, in your own country, surrounded by your family. Everyone at the institute was willing to help me, they were so respectful and encouraged me in every way possible in order to make me feel better and secure.
Once I started the laparoscopic course classes at World Laparoscopy Hospital, Professor Dr R K Mishra told us once; “I’m here not to make you afraid of complication but to make you succeed in your surgical carrier”. At that moment I felt that my journey of minimal access surgery just began and my future in WLH and my family’s future as well. I even had an opportunity to be an intern at “Cleveland Clinic, Ohio” for two months which gave me the chance to learn the US experience of laparoscopic surgery and da Vinci surgery. Even in US no one allowed me to touch da Vinci Robot but thanks to World Laparoscopy Hospital where I myself has used 4 arm HD surgical robot to learn all the robotic suturing and knotting. They never stopped me using so much expensive machine. Thank you World Laparoscopy Hospital for helping me achieving my goal to learn laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Reply: Dear Dr H S Gabriel

I am proud to say that I belong to this wonderful temple of knowledge: World Laparoscopy Hospital. I was highly elated when I got the admission in Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery integrated course here. As I had always wished to take laparoscopic surgery training from a place that has cooperative professors, a state of the art infrastructure, huge skill development resources, Wet laboratories pertaining to latest surgical technologies and clean campus with a large canteen that serves very hygienic food.
World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurugram is the blend of all these. The laparoscopic courses, expert lectures, operation theater visits and other co-curricular activities manifolds our knowledge in surgical as well in other necessary life long activities. The congenial environment here in Cyber City, Gurugram has given me numerous opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and groom my personality. This is the place where the surgeon and gynecologist work hand in hand bringing laurels for their surgical skill by winning in the real principle of MIS. The institute environment provides us a platform where we can develop ourselves uniquely and prove to be an expert in highly competitive world. Since last 20 years, WLH has gifted the veterans to the fields of minimal access surgery. I am fortunate to be a part of this great institute and I promise to enlighten the society with the flame of knowledge passed down to me from this auspicious place. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reply: Dear Dr Joshua Matthew
