It is a unitary state with administrative subdivisions on two levels known as counties and municipalities. Cooperation between Palestinian Society for Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Makassed Charitable Hospital in Jerusalem, NORWAC, Oslo and Akershus University Hospitals in Norway has demostrated many new development in laparoscopic surgery.
