Kenya is bordered by Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the northeast, Uganda to the west, Sudan to the northwest and Tanzania to the south. Lake Victoria is shared among Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. There are enormous wildlife reserves in Kenya. The country has thousands of animal species. Nairobi is the capital city. Kenya has area of about 580,000 km2 and population of nearly 39 million which is diverse. The country is named after Mount Kenya, which is the second highest mountain peaks among Africa.
