The Republic of Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa. Uganda is bordered on the east by Kenya, on the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the north by Sudan, on the south by Tanzania, and on the southwest by Rwanda. Prof. R.K. Mishra has kept the milestone of Minimal Access Surgery at Gulu Indipendent Hospital, Uganda in 2001. In the southern part of the country, Lake Victoria is significant portion, which is also bordered by Kenya and Tanzania.Because of the Buganda kingdom Uganda got its name. Besides other languages English and Swahili is spoken by majority of the people of Uganda.
